About Me

Donna McCarty-Estep: Like most artists, I grew up enjoying drawing, coloring, and doing crafts. I never thought that the arts would become the main focus in my life. I started out with a Pre-Law major in college however that didn't last long. I changed majors and colleges and began my studies in art education. I graduated and found myself working in an art supply store. I'm still there and using my degree everyday, though not in the traditional sense. Art is in my work, my hobbies, and is my life. Currently, I am working in Acrylics on a series of iconic figures and am loving the technique and the end result!
